Driving Safer Communities: Ontario Traffic Council launches campaign in support of Ontario's new Automated Speed Enforcement program

Following the filing of Reg. 398/19: AUTOMATED SPEED ENFORCEMENT under the Safer School Zones Act by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation in November 2019, the Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) today announced its support for and endorsement of the program via the launch of Driving Safer Communities, a campaign to raise awareness of the use of ASE to reduce speeds in school zones and community safety zones where the posted speed limit is under 80 kmph.
