Ontario’s annual minimum wage increase came into effect on October 1

Ontario is increasing the general minimum wage for the fourth consecutive year, which will bring the wage up to $11.60 on October 1, 2017. For liquor servers, the minimum wage increased from $9.90 per hour to $10.10 per hour.
